Capital Metro Transit

This is Austin’s bus system.  As a city bus system they won’t come to Pflugerville therefore can’t help me/mine.

However, they claim to have a curb to curb service for disabled folks called CARTS.  They say schedule your ride by calling 800-456-7433.  The nearest stop to where I live is .69mi away.  So again…I don’t know if this service will be extended to nearby folks like myself.  I have sent them an email hoping to find out.

They say you request & return an application for STS services by writing Special Transit Services, Capital Metro, 2910 E. 5th Austin, TX  78702.  You can also return by fax @ 369-7779.
